This initiative reinforces KRA’s digital transformation agenda and its commitment to co-creating innovative solutions with Kenya’s tech community.

- GavaConnect platform: Currently hosts 16 APIs, including PIN and Tax Compliance Certificate checkers, NIL return filing, and e-Slip verification.
- Developer adoption: Over 1000 developers have joined, signaling strong interest in tax-tech innovation and government service integration.
- KRA leadership: Deputy Commissioner Annastacia Githuba emphasized that GavaConnect represents a milestone in tax digitization, giving developers opportunities to build, innovate and monetize solutions around tax compliance.
