What is KRA Tax Compliance Certificate?
The KRA Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) is a document that is issued to compliant taxpayers by Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA). In the context of “Compliant Taxpayers” meaning those who have filed both their Employment Income Tax Return and also the Nil Income Tax Returns.
How To Apply for KRA Tax Compliance Certificate?

Now, let us dive into the steps involved in reprint Tax Compliance Certificate from iTax Portal. You will need to have the following with you before continuing:
- Your KRA PIN PIN Number
- Your iTax Password
If you have forgotten your KRA PIN Number, you can request for KRA PIN Retrieval services here at Cyber.co.ke Portal. Alternative, if you are looking to get a new KRA PIN Number, you can get one in 5 minutes here at Cyber.co.ke Portal using our KRA PIN Registration services.
If you have forgotten your iTax Password, you can check out our guide on How To Reset KRA iTax Password. The new password will be sent to your iTax registered email address. If you wish to change your iTax Email address, you can request for Change of Email Address services here at Cyber.co.ke Portal.
If you have a KRA PIN that is not yet on iTax Portal, you can request for KRA PIN Update online at Cyber.co.ke Portal and your KRA PIN will be updated to the new iTax Portal. Once you are all set, you can begin the process of Reprinting the Tax Compliance Certificate.
How To Reprint KRA Tax Compliance Certificate
Step 1: Visit iTax Portal
Firstly, you will need to visit KRA iTax Portal using the link provided above.
Step 2: Enter Your KRA PIN Number
Next, you will be required to enter your KRA PIN Number. Once you have entered your KRA PIN Number, click on the “Continue” button.
Step 3: Enter your KRA iTax Password and Security Stamp (Solve Arithmetic Question)
Next, you will be required to enter your KRA iTax Password and solve the arithmetic question (security stamp). Once done, click on the “Login” button to proceed.
Step 4: iTax Account iPage Dashboard
Once, you have successfully logged in, you will be able to access your iTax iPage Account dashboard. This is as shown below.
Step 5: Click on the Certificates Tab
Next, you will need to click on the Certificate tab located at the right hand side. From the drop down that appears, click on Consult and Reprint TCC.
Step 6: Consult and Reprint Tax Compliance Certificate
In this step, you will click on the “Consult” button so as to load the TCC Applications in your iTax Account.
Step 7: Download KRA Tax Compliance Certificate
In this step, you will click on the Certificate Serial Number column so as to download the KRA TCC.

Once you click on the TCC Serial Number, your Tax Compliance Certificate will download automatically and you will be able to print the KRA Tax Compliance Certificate. So, next time you need a copy of your KRA TCC, follow the above steps to reprint it.
